What to Expect

• Log in to the event approximately 5 minutes before your event begins to ensure that you are ready to participate.
• Join the Event Meeting Lobby to listen to a welcome message and instructions from your host.
• When it’s time for the event:
  • Log In 5 minutes prior to the beginning of the event.
  • Navigate to this event on your home page.
  • Your schedule of meetings will populate automatically in approximately a minute of the beginning of the event.
  • Click on “See Meeting Schedule” to see all your meetings and partner profiles.
  • Select “Join Meeting” as soon as it illuminates on the right side of your screen. There will be a timer in the bottom of your screen to inform you how much time until your meeting.
  • Proceed through your meeting, complete the partner survey then repeat the process with your next partner.

How It Works

When you create an account on the SpeedNetworking.com platform, you will find the event and complete the event registration. This important information is used to determine which other participants you should get to know, and ultimately who you are paired up with during the 1:1 video calls.

Prior to the start time of the event, you will need to check in. If you register but do not check in, you will not be included on the 1:1 meeting schedules (i.e. you registered but were not able to attend for some reason – life happens!). Pushing the check in button on the event page is very important!

Between each meeting you will have the opportunity to complete a survey and write some notes that only YOU can see.
