Work wellness has become a top priority and hot topic of conversation, yet ill-being at work is at an all-time high. Why are we missing the mark? Most leaders are lacking a comprehensive work wellbeing strategy, or the solutions they have are falling short.
Through extensive research, Motives Met discovered what many organizations get wrong about work wellbeing. They have taken their background in quantitative research, human behavior, psychology, and mindfulness, and they’ll be sharing some of this insight in a work wellbeing presentation and networking series.
Kelly is the author of the upcoming book Work Life Well-Lived and Co-Founder of Motives Met, the work wellbeing platform and assessment tool empowering individuals, companies and leaders to create their best work life and workplace. Kelly has built her career around her passion for helping people create greater wellbeing in their lives through various avenues. As a quantitative researcher of human behavior, she uses her findings to develop frameworks and models to better understand the world and ourselves to make positive change. She is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner (CBT), certified in cognitive coaching, and a forever student of learning about our human brains and the science of how we think. As a meditation teacher and mindfulness expert she uses the ancient wisdom, now backed by science, in a practical way to improve life in and outside of work, in our modern world.
Kelly wanted to use her expertise to challenge how we think about work so we could elevate it. She created Motives Met to help achieve the attainable dream of a better collective work world. To bring more mindfulness into how we work, change our mindset about the norms in our workplaces and empower people to have a work life with true wellbeing.
